Confirm the PlayStation hardware and firmware
Use the PlayStation/PC G PRO Racing Wheel in PRO mode. Logitech lists F1 25 and PlayStation support for this model. Update firmware with G HUB before connecting it to PS5, then calibrate steering and pedals inside F1 25.
Do not use an Xbox/PC base as though it has native PlayStation support. Keep the wheel powered and connected before launching the game, and rebuild the control scheme if the steering centre or button map is wrong.

Start with Logitech's F1 25 profile
Logitech recommends PRO mode, FFB Filter 7, Dampener Off, TF Audio 20, and 360 degrees for F1 25 on PlayStation and Xbox. Its recommendations assume 11 Nm strength; choose a lower physical ceiling if required for comfort or mounting safety.
The official table defines the wheel-side signal treatment. The in-game values above are a conservative test profile, not values published by Logitech.

Build strength without clipping
Begin with overall FFB at 70, modest track effects, Wheel Damper 0, Understeer Enhance Off, and 360-degree rotation. Test slow traction corners, a fast loaded corner, kerbs, and a straight. Raise overall strength in small steps only while strong-corner detail remains distinct.
If the wheel feels floaty, confirm calibration and the 360-degree match before adding damping. If it is too violent or tiring, reduce physical torque or overall FFB rather than stacking filters.

Treat update-related FFB changes as a fault first
F1 25 owners have reported Logitech feedback changing or disappearing after some updates and session restarts. If a previously stable profile suddenly becomes weak, choppy, off-centre, or loses TrueForce, do not immediately rewrite every value.
Restart the session and game, reconnect the wheel, confirm current firmware, and test another title. Record the F1 25 version with the preset so a software regression is not mistaken for a tuning problem.
