Triple-screen setup calculator

Turn six measurements into a complete physical and in-game setup: side angle, total field of view, rig width, side depth, bezel correction, and panel dimensions.

Measure one monitor

Assumes three matching flat monitors. Measure eye distance perpendicular to the centre panel and the complete dark gap between adjacent visible areas.

Use native triple projection when the sim supports it. Enter the measured monitor width, one-seam bezel gap, side angle, and eye distance instead of forcing a stretched single camera.

How the angle is calculated

The recommended toe-in equals the horizontal visual angle of one panel: 2 × arctangent of half the visible panel width divided by eye distance. With that placement, each side panel faces the driver and all three panel centres are the same distance from the eyes. Total geometric FOV is three times the per-panel angle.

Values to enter in the simulator

For native triple projection, enter three flat screens, physical monitor width, single-seam bezel width, eye distance, and the calculated side angle. Vertical-FOV titles keep the per-panel vertical value; do not enter the full three-screen horizontal value into a vertical-FOV field.
