01

Use the PlayStation wheel in PRO mode

Use the PlayStation/PC version of the G PRO Racing Wheel. Logitech lists the wheel for PlayStation 5 and Gran Turismo 7; the Xbox/PC version is not a native PS5 substitute. Select PRO compatibility mode before launching GT7.

Update wheel firmware through G HUB on a computer before troubleshooting the console. Power the PS5 before the wheel if GT7 identifies the base incorrectly or the steering suddenly feels unlike the saved profile.

02

Apply Logitech's official wheel profile

Set FFB Filter to 8, Dampener to 15, TF Audio to 100, and let GT7 set steering angle per car. Logitech says its published profiles assume the base is set to 11 Nm; lower the physical limit if that is not safe or comfortable for your rig.

Filter 8 smooths the signal, Dampener 15 controls rapid movement, and TF Audio 100 exposes GT7's TrueForce detail. Treat those as a documented starting point, not a requirement to run maximum in-game torque.

03

Set GT7 strength by car class

Begin around Max Torque 3 for high-downforce race cars and 5 for road cars, with Sensitivity 1. These are community-derived test points, not Logitech values. GT7 changes steering load substantially between cars, so one high setting can feel acceptable in a road car and excessive in a prototype.

Owners commonly recommend leaving the base at its chosen physical limit and adjusting Max Torque in GT7. If a loaded corner becomes one constant force, reduce Max Torque. If detail remains clear but the wheel is too light, increase one step.

04

Tune TrueForce separately

Logitech recommends TF Audio 100 for GT7, but some owners prefer substantially less vibration. Reduce the console's vibration strength or TF Audio if engine and surface texture mask steering load; do not lower steering torque merely to quiet the vibrotactile layer.

Retest after GT7 physics updates. Record the game version, firmware, rim, Max Torque, Sensitivity, and vibration values with the profile.
